Scripture/Text: ; Our age is described as highly individualistic, and therefore isolating. Yet, we realize our God-given desire for community. Thus, our desires and lived-experience are at odds. On Sunday, we will consider one hindrance in our cultural-formation to the enjoyment of a sweet community. I will follow by arguing that, for our spiritual strength, we need to build the habit of gathering as communities of three people. Recognizing the difficulties our culture presents and practicing this habit will move us in the God-honoring direction of helping others reach maturity in Christ Jesus. Join me to learn about this hindrance to community and why this habit is Biblically-based.
