Scripture/Text: ; Scripture/Text: 1 Thessalonians 5.1-11; For years, the Church has wrestled with the rapture. Is it pre-tribulational, mid-tribulational or a post-tribulational? In 1 Thessalonians 5, the apostle Paul says, “But you, brothers and sisters are not in darkness so that [the day of the Lord] should surprise you like a thief” (1 Thessalonians 5.4). Although it's a secondary issue, and salvation doesn't depend on it, through an argument for a post-tribulational rapture, I'll encourage you to study the scriptures so that God might persuade you, through His Word, to whichever position He desires for you to have.
