Scripture/Text: Micah 7:1-7; Micah has, thus far, focused on God's word to God's rebellious people. In Sunday's scripture, Micah vents about the evils of his day. Micah laments. I will help us see how Micah's necessary lament in his day helps us thrive in ours. Counter-intuitively slowing down to reflect on all that is wrong in our moment helps us endure and honor God no matter how terrible things have gotten.
